WHY DO WE HAVE TO SAVE ELECTRICITY?
We can conserve Electricity in many ways and at the many different levels of Electricity consumption. At home, simple actions such as turning off the lights and unplugging computers or turning off televisions can help us reduce our consumption and thereby conserve Electricity. In an effort to reduce fossil fuel consumption, scientists have focused money and efforts into developing nuclear reactors. Although these reactors can yield much electricity, it also produces radioactive waste products. Decreasing our demand for electricity can decrease the need for nuclear reactors and therefore reduce the risk of radioactive pollution
